I like what I received and was glad that it was in fair shape and the CD was in good shape. I really like Lifehouse and didn't have this CD.
not the best cd they have done.in my opinion only one or 2 good songs on it.
First Time (10.5/10): This is the reason I bought the album. Guess which I am.7. Disarray (9.5/10): It really gives you a sense that in this confusing world, you aren't alone, and when you can't find what you're looking for in life, others are in the same boat. Who We Are (8.5/10): If the album should have been titled by a song actually in the album, it should have been "First Time" or "Broken". Storm.
10. Overall, it's a great album, probably their best. But no matter who you are, this song is emotional. Whatever it Takes (8.0/10): Even though the beat is good and it's fun to sing along to, the lyrics seem a bit cliche and just plain easy compared to their other tracks. He can go from high to low and really shows that he's the boss. Easier to Be (9.0/10): Another smooth, soft song that's pleasing to hear. The Joke (2/10): One of my least favorites. Best song on the album.
The song is perfect for "simple America", but for someone like me who's looking for something more deep and meaningful, these guys have done better.4. 3. But what I've heard, you either love it or hate it. The first Lifehouse albums were typically a couple great pieces, with the rest being quiet forgettable. Fun to sing along to.9. You won't be disappointed, no matter who you are. This album is just enough rock to make you want to dance, it's just enough intimacy to make you want to love, and it's more than enough inspiration to make you want to live.1. The tempo is exciting, and the lyrics are brilliant.
Don't get me wrong, but it just wasn't up to par with their surprisingly addictive singles like "Hanging By A Moment" and "Take Me Away". 11. A great rock ballad. If you liked "Spin" on their previous album, you'll love this song.2. Lyrics are meaningful as well and it's good for rainy days.8. The peaceful nature of Wade's voice in this song is unforgettable.
However, this time around, Jason Wade is showing the world what he's capable of. Just not the greatest fun to listen to. 6. If you need peace and quiet, or a break from a loud world, put this song on. Make Me Over (9.0/10): Not terribly exciting song, but catchy and something many of us can relate to. (4.0/10): Mesmerized, Bridges, Learn You Inside Out: A little disappointing, but lyrics aren't bad. The album version is actually much, much better than the current radio version.
(8.5/10): A soothing, but a bit slow, calm ballad that's just great fun to have on repeat in the bath. Broken (10/10): The one song that probably will go far for Lifehouse because of it's rock n' roll appeal and the fact that it slightly branches over into the spiritual realm of music. 12. The metaphors in this song are subtle and very poetic and the instrumentals are breathtaking. The reason it got such a high grade is because you can really hear how Wade's voice projects so perfectly in this song. It gives the sense that there is peace to be found and is a very encouraging and uplifting song. I've never heard such a deeply romantic song being sung in such a way that made me want to just get up and dance.
But this song is an emotional rock ballad somewhat similar to "Disarray." A couple of moments where the lyrics falter a bit, but not too bad for the ears.5.
I love every song on this cd.I now own every Lifehouse cd.and this is the best so far.
Lifehouse I feel have really deliverd on this album and I feel is better than all previous.
